Window Frost

One of the special treats we get to enjoy here in the frigid state of Minnesota is beautiful window frost.  Usually, this needs to be caught before the bright sun rays melt it away.  Here are a few photos I took a couple weeks ago.

Spring! Where are you???

It has been snowing for the past four days here in Minneapolis, Minnesota and we are ready for spring to show up!  Even the robins are confused as to what is going on and have been sent into a panic and robbing our front crab apple tree of the dried up berries!  I felt so bad for them today as the wind was blowing so strong and snow falling quickly.  I had to grab my camera and take a few pictures of them bearing the cold spring.

We also had a few Cedar Waxwings fighting for their share the other day.
